Helping Hands - Auxiliary of Hillcrestfounded April 1967
Purpose: To encourage one another in the discovery and development of individual strengths and talents with the common efforts to reach out with "Helping Hands" and faithfully serve God.
Helping Hands is a ladies auxillary which meets the third Tuesday of each month, August through May. They have elected officers who serve a one year term. Some of the projects they do are: College student care packages, thank you treats for community servants, such as police, fire department, teachers, hospital workers, etc., valentines for widows and other community and church projects. Meetings are hosted by different people each month and consists of devotions, special speakers, fellowship and refreshments. All church ladies are invited to be a part of this ministry.
Guest Luncheon
A guest luncheon is offered quarterly. This is for first new guests that attended during the preceding quarter. A nice meal is served, staff and leadership is introduced and a short tour of the building is offered. This is a chance for guests to meet the staff and others new to Hillcrest.
